DESCRIPTION

Clear, odourless, fluid neutral degreasing agent based on among others things high boiling aliphatic hydrocarbon.

• Special degreasing agent for the removal of oil and grease from machines and motor parts, transmissions, ball bearings, gear wheels, metal parts, electrical components etc.
• Odourless.
• Contains no chlorinated hydrocarbons or other harmful chemicals.
• Does not emulsify in water, the polluted oil can be separated by means of an oil/water separator.
• It fulfills TS 6850-017, edition 4 of the German military force.
• High flash point.

APPLICATION

LECTROSAFE can be applied with a brush or by spraying the parts to be cleaned. This product can also be used by filling an immersion bath to clean extremely dirty parts. The high flash point and the fact that it is practically odourless makes LECTROSAFE a pleasant and problem free product.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Immersion baths: LECTROSAFE is used undiluted and unheated in immersion baths. Place the parts to be cleaned in the bath and soak for several hours. Thereafter take the parts out of the bath and spray off with a forceful waterjet. Attention: parts that need to be rust free and dry (such as electrical components) should not be sprayed clean with water but with clean LECTROSAFE and afterward should be blow dried completely because of fire risk if residues are left behind.

General cleaning: For the cleaning of dirty parts and surfaces use LECTROSAFE undiluted. Moisten the parts to be cleaned thoroughly with the product. Depending on the measure of dirt soak the product for 5 to 60 minutes, brush in between. After this, rinse thoroughly with water. Sensitive parts that need to be rust free and dry (such as electrical components) should not be sprayed clean with water but with LECTROSAFE and afterwards should be blown dry completely to avoid fire risk.

CAUTION

Cold cleaners should only be used in combination with oil/water separators. To guarantee an optimal oil/water separation, cold cleaners should never be used with greater amounts of emulsifying cleaners (e.g. of High Pressure Cleaners) if the waste is passing oil/water separators.

DESCRIPTION

Liquid degreasing solvent containing chlorinated and aliphatic petroleum solvents.

• Penetrates and dissolves oil and grease
• Leaves clean and dry surfaces
• Single process cleaning
• No rinsing required

APPLICATION

• Cleaning and degreasing of electrical equipment such as motors, generators, switchgear, contactors, coils, winches, etc.
• General degreasing and cleaning of machine parts and equipments without rinsing.
• Can be used on all metals, metal alloys and insulating varnishes, (except for certain plastics) where no ignition source is present.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

• Allow LECTROCLEAN SLOW to completely evaporate leaving surface dry.

SAFETY & HANDLING

• Use only in area with good ventilation.
• Do not smoke whilst using product.
• Product should not be ingested or inhaled.
• Gloves, safety goggles and protective clothing should be worn.
• In case of skin or eye contact, rinse copiously with water.
• Close container tightly after use. Store in a cool ventilated area.
